You pay for the camera, not the diary.

Analysing a photograph is the one thing here with a bill attached, so it is the one thing metered. Typing a meal in by hand, correcting an estimate, and reading your own history are free on both plans and always will be — charging for those would just push people back to not logging at all.

600 scans is six photographed meals a day, every day. A coach review costs 3 scans.

If you run out

200 extra scans, $4.99.

A pack sits behind your monthly allowance and is only drawn on once that runs out, so buying one early never wastes it. Purchased scans do not expire — not at the end of the month, and not if you cancel.

Where you subscribe

Either store, one account.

Subscribing inside the Android app goes through Google Play, because Google requires it. Subscribing here goes through Stripe. Both write to the same account, so whichever you choose, you are Premium on the phone and on the web — and you cancel wherever you bought it.
