What you get
Free accounts may analyse 15 photographs a month. Premium accounts may analyse 600 a month. Manual entries, edits and reading your own history are unlimited on both. The monthly allowance resets on the 1st and does not roll over; purchased scan packs do not expire.
Estimates, not measurements
Every nutrition figure Plateful produces from a photograph is an estimate, and portion size in particular is inferred rather than measured. Numbers are shown per item so you can correct them, and correcting them is free. Do not rely on Plateful where accuracy is medically important.
Paying and cancelling
Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Cancel through the store you bought from — Google Play if you subscribed in the app, the billing portal on your account page if you subscribed by card. Cancelling stops the next renewal; Premium continues to the end of the period you have paid for. Scan packs are one-off purchases and are not refundable once the scans are credited.
Fair use
The monthly caps exist because each scan costs us a model call. Automating the app, sharing one account between people, or scanning at a rate no person eats at may have the account rate-limited or closed.
Ending it
You can delete your account at any time from plateful.today/delete-account, or from Account in the app. Deletion is immediate and removes your meals, photos, profile, weight log and plan; cancel your subscription with whichever store sold it first, because deleting your data does not cancel billing. We can close an account that breaches these terms, and will refund the unused part of a current subscription period if we do.
